Elorn/P3 Credit Card Integration

Project Overview

Commissioned by Growlobby, we developed a custom direct credit card integration with Elorn/P3 for their Hyvä Checkout store. This integration eliminates payment redirects by processing credit card payments directly on-site through a secure iframe, creating a seamless checkout experience that keeps customers engaged throughout the entire purchase journey.

Challenge

Growlobby's existing payment flow required customers to be redirected to an external payment page to complete their credit card transactions. This redirect-based approach created friction in the checkout process and negatively impacted conversion rates. Adding to the complexity, Elorn/P3 had minimal documentation available, making a custom integration particularly challenging but necessary to achieve the desired on-site payment experience.

We developed a custom Hyvä Checkout integration that embeds Elorn/P3 credit card processing directly into the checkout flow using a hosted iframe. Technical Implementation

The integration presented unique challenges due to limited documentation from Elorn/P3. We worked directly with their API to understand the integration requirements and developed a custom solution that embeds their credit card processing iframe directly into the Hyvä Checkout flow. The implementation handles 3D Secure authentication seamlessly, with the authentication challenge appearing inline without disrupting the checkout experience. Tokenization ensures that sensitive credit card data is handled securely throughout the process, maintaining PCI compliance while keeping customers on-site.
